ABOUT
XMAS Designworks was founded in 2020 by Andrew Russel Andruss to cultivate the concept of generalist design and provide clients with durable, elegant objects and visual communication full of good cheer.
Andrew has studied broad genres of art and design at some of the best institutions around the world, and practiced in Brooklyn before relocating to Chicago in late 2023 where he gut renovatied a former bar in Logan Square to serve as an ongoing case study and experimental live/work design lab.
Andrew is currently pursuing an M.Arch degree at SAIC with the aim to bring his unique architectural philosophy to art-minded clinets looking for low-maintenance live/work spaces that accomodate creative lifestyles forever.
All are welcome to schedule a studio visit — you will likely come away energized and with a free houseplant cutting. Please email or book a visit via Setmore to get started now.
